My mom 1939 Shackamaxon and Girard in Fishtown. There’s a Pizza joint there now.

Fishtown 1920s,My Nan she was the first generation born here in Philadelphia her parents were from Ireland. They were Irish Catholic and very poor. She was the only one out of 8 to survive to adulthood. Her siblings died of TB consumption. So sad 😞
