Calling all Military

My grandfather and me Xmas 1976. I left for Germany the next month my grandfather was born in Germany, came here at the age of 16 and he was already a journeyman machinist he was born in 1907 my sister still has his passport (reichspass). First stop in America Ellis Island New York.
In 1965 Pakistan and India went to war. Dependents we’re evacuated from the Peshawar air station and spent three months in barracks in Karamursel, Turkey. My mom was in the stars and stripes.

Anyone else collect these

In Germany, in the early 1960’s, we were taught to say we were from the United States instead America. North & South America has so many other countries and we are just one country.
All that seemed to have changed.
