My grandfather with his Liberator crew. He’s “Bill Jones” in the front row just right of centre.

Liberator 2V-B is KG869 which is a B24J converted to what the Royal Air Force called a “GRVI” (General Recconaisence 6).

The log book page is his from a low level anti-shipping mission over the Baltic Sea in February 1944 in this aircraft. There’s lots of red ink on it which means in RAF terms it was “quite exciting”.
