
Eva Miriam Hart was an English Titanic survivor who, at age 7, escaped the sinking in Lifeboat 14 with her mother while her father perished. Traveling second class in 1912, she later became one of the most outspoken survivor voices, vividly recalling the disaster and advocating for maritime safety. Awarded an MBE in 1974, she opposed Titanic salvage efforts, published her memoir Shadow of the Titanic, and remained active in commemorations until her death in 1996
