You may have noticed some of our officers out of their patrol vehicles and throughout our neighborhoods this weekend. As part of our community policing efforts, officers patrolled on bicycles and in the department’s Kubota, providing a visible presence, enhancing public safety, and connecting with residents in a more personal way.

And in what may have been the biggest surprise of the weekend, Detective DeFranceso even stepped away from his desk to enjoy some fresh air!
